Taxis
The commonest way of getting a taxi in
León is to go to one of the 37 taxi
ranks that can be found throughout the city.
Taxi ranks can be recognized by a, usually,
long line of taxis that are parked, and
by a sign that says “Taxi”.
You can also hail a taxi on the street,
if it is unoccupied. The best place to do
that is near a traffic light or in an empty
space on the street. In this way, the taxi
can safely stop without interrupting the
traffic flow.
Furthermore, you can call a taxi to pick
you up at any point in the city.
The telephone
number of the taxi central is: +34 987 26
14 15.
Trains
León has a train station from
which you can depart to any other city in
the country.
